Los Manolos are scheduled to perform in Plaça de la Vila, Santa Coloma de Gramenet, on Sunday 6 September as part of the city's Festa Major d'Estiu. For residents and visitors, the concert forms part of a programme of more than 100 activities running from Friday 4 to Monday 7 September, with local artists and associations making up most of the bill.

The group will appear on the same evening as the traditional habaneras concert by Mar i Vent, according to the published festival schedule. Los Manolos are listed among the main musical names in this year's programme, alongside Chanel, Sopa de Cabra, Sidonie, David Bustamante, El Drogas, María Peláe and 31 FAM.

People planning to attend should check the Ajuntament de Santa Coloma de Gramenet's 2026 Festa Major programme for the concert timetable and any last-minute changes.

A summer festival revived in 1976

Santa Coloma's Festa Major d'Estiu is a long-running civic celebration rather than the city's patron-saint festival. A municipal bulletin published in 2001 records that the event was interrupted during the Franco dictatorship and revived in 1976 as a popular celebration.

The 2026 programme combines concerts with traditional and community events. The published listings include:

  • a children’s correfoc, a traditional fire-run event;
  • two street parades marking the centenary of Amics de la Sardana and the 40th anniversary of the Gegants Nous giant figures;
  • performances in Plaça de la Vila, Plaça de Pau Casals, Plaça del Rellotge, Mas Fonollar and Parc d'Europa.

Los Manolos' Plaça de la Vila appearance places rumba catalana within a programme that the city has described as family-oriented, inclusive, supportive, traditional, participatory and civic.
