Who we are
Catalan.News is published by Pub.cat, a Barcelona-based media company founded by Owen Hughes in 2026. We are the regional complement to our sister site Barna.News.
Our newsroom runs on a custom AI editorial system. Every article is researched, drafted, and reviewed by our AI editorial team, working from primary sources across Catalonia (Generalitat press releases, ajuntament announcements, named regional publications, public records).
