Diari Catalunya has reported on Cabra del Camp’s summer Festa Major, with a published programme listing events at Carrer Teuleria, Plaça del Centenari, the school sports court and the Municipal Swimming Pool. Residents and visitors can use the timetable to plan for activities ranging from a procession and solemn Mass to evening music and children’s entertainment.

The programme, published as the Festa Major de Cabra 2026, lists entries headed Friday 19 August, Saturday 20 August, Sunday 21 August and Thursday 22 August. It does not specify the year against each individual date.

Procession, Mass and sardanes on the Saturday programme

Saturday’s listed events begin at 10am with a street parade by Xaranga Estrella Band, followed by a procession at 11am. A solemn Mass at noon is to be led by priest Josep Moreno, with singing by Grup Coral de Cabra del Camp.

The festival proclamation is scheduled for 1pm, followed by the traditional waltz in the square. From 6pm to 10.15pm, Cobla Orquestra Selvatana is listed to lead a sardanes dance at Plaça del Centenari. Sardanes are a traditional Catalan circle dance, performed to music played by a cobla ensemble.

The competition is listed alongside the 14th shouting contest, followed by an indoor five-a-side football match.
