Manresa’s Festa Major ends on Monday 31 August after nine days of events, with a final programme ranging from museum visits and children’s activities to dancing, live music and the Correfoc. For residents and visitors, it is the last chance this year to attend the festival’s scheduled heritage activities and its late-night closing events in Plaça Major.

The Correfoc is due to start in Plaça Major at 9.30pm. The Ball del Correfoc with Banda Neon is scheduled there at 12.30am, followed by DJ Anna Gisbert, according to the published 2026 programme.

Museums and family activities begin at 10am

Several cultural venues will open during the morning and early afternoon. Visitors planning to enter Carrer del Balç should make an advance reservation through Manresa Turisme before attending.

  • Carrer del Balç will be open from 10am to 2pm.
  • The Museu de l’Aigua i el Tèxtil will be open from 10am to 2pm.
  • The Museu del Barroc de Catalunya and the Museu Petit at Museu de Manresa will be open from 10am to 3pm.
  • The “Taca, prem i estampa” workshop at Museu de Manresa runs from 10am to 1pm.
  • The family activity “Descobriu el Museu en família!” runs at the Museu del Barroc de Catalunya from 10am to 3pm.

The day also includes Aquadynamic at the Ateneu Les Bases swimming pool at 10.15am, chess simultaneous games at Passeig de Pere III outside the Centre Cultural el Casino at 11am, and conventual Mass at the Col·legiata Basílica de Santa Maria de la Seu at 11am.


Evening programme moves from Passeig de Pere III to Plaça Major

The children’s film Guillot i Llebre salven el bosc is scheduled for 5.30pm at the Auditori Plana de l’Om. Los Diablos will perform at the Teatre Conservatori at 6pm.

  • Country and line dancing will take place in Plaça Neus Català Pallejà from 6pm to 9pm.
  • A sardana workshop begins at 6pm outside the Casino on Passeig de Pere III.
  • L’Ada de Som Mainada will perform in Plaça Sant Domènec at 7pm.
  • The 47th Sardanes al Cor de Catalunya, with Cobla Ciutat de Manresa, starts at 7pm outside the Casino.
  • The Festa Major dance begins at 9pm on the second section of Passeig de Pere III.

The Correfoc will begin in Plaça Major at 9.30pm. Festival-goers wishing to attend the final music events should head to the square for the 12.30am Ball del Correfoc, followed by DJ Anna Gisbert.
