Music fans across Catalonia and the Valencian Country have concerts scheduled throughout August, with programmes ranging from winery shows in the Empordà to free performances in Tarragona and Figueres. The most immediate dates include the Occident Summerfest in Puigcerdà from 13 to 22 August and the free Capsa Music Festival at Tarragona's Teatre Auditori Camp de Mart on 15 August.

According to Racó Català's August festival guide, Capsa Music Festival will present Cloe Riembau, Remei de Ca la Fresca, Oscárboles and Genni Knows. Entry is free, with no reservation required, until the venue reaches capacity.

Concerts in the first three weeks of August

Nosaltres, a music programme in Mataró, runs until 20 August. Its closing stretch includes Pep Lladó's tribute show Peret, the rumba that never stops and a performance by Roser Dresaire.

Sons del Món, a festival which moves to Empordà wineries after concerts at the Ciutadella de Roses, continues until 21 August. The programme begins with Carlos Núñez at Celler Martín Faixó in Cadaqués.

  • Manu Guix performs at Celler Massís de l'Albera in Garriguella on 13 August.
  • Quim Masferrer is scheduled at Celler La Vinyeta on 15 August.
  • Roger Mas closes the winery programme at Vinyes dels Aspres on 21 August.

In Mollerussa, the fourth Minúscul series continues at Cal Jaques on Thursdays until 27 August. Helena de los Ángeles and Cervera musician Oskar Rosell are due on 20 August, followed by Josep Pedrals and Xavi Lloses on 27 August.


Puigcerdà, Calella and the Llera del Ter

Occident Summerfest in Puigcerdà runs from 13 to 22 August, with Joan Dausà, Lax'n'Busto, La Ludwig Band, Rosario and Taburete listed on the 2026 bill.

Nits d'Estiu Calella, known as NEC, continues until 29 August at Calella lighthouse and Parc Dalmau. Its scheduled pairings include Libérica Trio with Maruja Limón, and N'Gai N'Gai with Northen Cellos.

The Concerts de Tornada cycle in the Llera del Ter, the riverside area around the River Ter, has Marc Parrot in Medinyà on 21 August and Ernest Prana in Bordils on 27 August.

Figueres and late-August festival dates

Acústica returns to Figueres from 27 to 30 August with free performances. Buhos, La Fúmiga, Sopa de Cabra and La Ludwig Band are scheduled for La Rambla, while Def con Dos and Pastora are listed for the Plaça Catalunya stage.

Dan Peralbo i el Comboi, Alosa, FADES and Malifeta are among the artists programmed at Plaça de la Palmera. The family-focused Acustiqueta programme includes Orquestra Di-versiones, Pais de Xauxa and Filomena.

  • Sons de la Nit takes place on 29 August at Parc de Vila-Rosario in Banyeres de Mariola, with El Diluvi, Hey Zuri, Kartutx and La Xica.
  • Espiga Rock is on 29 August at Sueca's Festes i Concerts venue, featuring Ginestà, Naina, Pep Gimeno 'Botifarra', Quinto and Cabrafotuda DJ.
  • Aquelarre runs in Cervera on 29 and 30 August, combining fire events, music, performances and popular-culture activities. Doctor Prats, Germà Negre, Partiperes and DJ Sendo are on its music programme.

For the Capsa Music Festival, attendees can go directly to Teatre Auditori Camp de Mart on 15 August, as admission is free without advance booking until capacity is reached.
