Pep Manresa, a councillor representing Junts at Tarragona City Council, has died aged 72, according to reports published on Friday 31 July 2026.
Manresa had held the council seat since the municipal term that began in 2023. His death leaves the Junts municipal group without one of its elected representatives at the council.
El Nacional reported that Josep Manresa, known as Pep, had spent months dealing with an illness. He was also linked to Tarragona's local associations.
