Girona City Council has awarded a two-year contract for legal defence and court representation services to three professional firms based in Barcelona. The agreement, divided into five separate lots, totals €168,388.44 including VAT, which works out to approximately €84,200 annually.
This contract covers the council's legal representation before the courts and the services of a procurator, a legal agent who represents clients in court. The initial value without VAT is €139,164.
The estimated value of the contract is higher, at €306,160.80, according to council officials. This larger figure accounts for potential extensions or modifications that may be added to the agreement over its duration.
