Vedruna schools in Central Catalonia will celebrate the 200th anniversary of their congregation with events primarily scheduled for the weekend of 16 and 17 May. Ten schools in the region, including those in Manresa, Sallent, Cardona, Artés, Navàs, Berga, and Puigcerdà, are planning commemorative activities.

These celebrations form part of a broader bicentenary commemoration. To mark the occasion, the Vedruna network has launched a new Alumni platform. This initiative aims to strengthen connections with former pupils, fostering a continued relationship with the educational community.

Connecting Past and Present Pupils

The new Alumni platform is a key element of the bicentenary. It provides a dedicated space for past students to reconnect with their former schools and with each other. This digital tool will help maintain the community spirit that defines the Vedruna educational project, according to officials.
