Valls City Council is continuing its multi-sport morning sessions for primary school children in Valls, Tarragona, on non-school days. This programme aims to help families balance their work, family, and personal lives, according to officials.

The activity is designed for primary education children born between 2014 and 2019. It provides an educational, recreational, and sports programme on days when schools are closed. This initiative, now in its second consecutive year, has become a key support for families in the city.

Organised by the Department of Equality and Feminisms and the Municipal Sports Board, the programme also collaborates with the Alt Camp Sports Council. It receives co-financing from the 'Temps per Cures' (Time for Care) and 'Pla Corresponsables' (Co-responsible Plan) programmes.

Upcoming Sessions and Registration

The next multi-sport days are scheduled for 27 February and 4 May. Both sessions will be held at the El Fornàs Municipal Sports Centre, running from 9am to 1pm. Registration for the 27 February session must be completed online between 10 and 23 February. The cost is €2 per child.

Through this action, the council shows its commitment to work-life balance, shared responsibility in care, and promoting physical activity among children.
