Two people were injured in a car accident on the C-65 road in Cassà de la Selva, Girona, on Saturday morning, according to local emergency services.
The collision occurred when one vehicle struck another from behind. The second car was stopped in the middle of the road at the time of the impact.
Emergency services received the alert at 10.15am. The Medical Emergency Service (SEM) sent two ambulances to the scene. Both injured individuals were transported to Doctor Josep Trueta University Hospital in Girona for treatment.
