The Terrassa Chamber of Commerce will host its 10th International Conference in Sant Cugat del Vallès on 14 May, bringing together experts to discuss the future of global economic and geopolitical landscapes. The event, titled 'Deciding Where to Grow in the World', will take place at the Grifols Auditorium in the Can Sant Joan Business Park.
This year's conference marks both its tenth anniversary and 40 years since Spain joined the European Economic Community (EEC). Sixteen academic, political, and business experts will analyse new scenarios affecting internationalised companies, covering topics such as value chain reconfiguration, logistics, taxation, customs, and international client relations.
Daniel González, head of the international area at the Terrassa Chamber of Commerce, highlighted that businesses face "new global balances, geopolitical tensions, and profound changes in how they operate in international markets." He added that the conference aims to provide tools and criteria for companies to make stronger decisions in their internationalisation processes.
The programme includes a main debate on Europe's economic and geopolitical future, alongside three round tables. These will focus on internationalisation teams, operational keys for successful exporting, and managing global clients. Representatives from companies such as Grifols, Delta Lab, Syntegon Telstar Technologies, DSV, Isotubi, Cesce, Pulcra Chemicals, Circutor, and Uriach are among the confirmed participants.
