Attendees sampled DO Terra Alta wines and local gastronomy from Restaurant Piqué, accompanied by music from Gandesa DJ Gem’s. This combination of local produce and artist was well received by all present, according to organisers.

Evening Concerts and Industry Sessions
The successful Wine Showcase led into an evening of concerts. The night started at 9:45pm with Caipirinyes, an all-female group performing covers of popular songs for an hour. The musical programme continued with The Tyets, a duo from Mataró, who captivated nearly 2,000 people gathered in Plaça Catalunya in Batea with their energetic performance. DJ Jardí, a local Batea artist, closed the oenomusical night.
The festival also included two events aimed at the wine sector. On the evening of 23 April, the awards ceremony for the DO Terra Alta Wine Competition 2026 took place at the Old Town Church in Corbera d’Ebre. Presented by Leonor Bertomeu, head of news for Canal TE, the gala brought together around 150 people from the wine world. The event featured live violin and cello performances by Míriam Luna and Aida Basco from La Fatarella, and showcased the work of sculptor Josep Ferré Bru. The gala concluded with a dinner by Vicent Guimerà, a Michelin-starred chef from L’Antic Molí d’Ulldecona.
On the morning of 24 April, a technical session titled 'Reading the market: the new wine consumer and how to sell in a changing environment' was held. Terra Alta wineries engaged in dialogue with experts Rafael del Rey and Sergi Cortés, who specialise in consumer metrics and behaviour in the wine industry.
Looking Ahead
The fourth Primavera DO Terra Alta Festival achieved its goals of promoting local wineries, providing a space for reflection on new ways to present the wine world, and establishing itself as a key event for both local and international visitors interested in cultural experiences. The festival's diverse programme centred on DO Terra Alta wine and local gastronomy. The Primavera DO Terra Alta 2026 programme will continue until the end of May with its 'Tastos de paisatge' (Landscape Tastings) cycle. These small-group tastings will take place in emblematic locations across the region, offering an intimate experience that connects wine with its natural, heritage, and cultural surroundings.
