A teenager has been arrested in Barcelona's Raval neighbourhood following the fatal stabbing of a man, according to local authorities. The arrest was made by the Urban Guard after an incident on Saturday night.

Officers were called to a street in Raval after reports of a fight. Upon arrival, they found a man seriously injured with a bladed weapon. Despite the efforts of emergency medical services, the victim died shortly after.

Rapid investigation by the Mossos d'Esquadra, Catalonia's police force, led to the identification and detention of the minor as the alleged perpetrator of the attack. The teenager has been taken to police facilities and is awaiting judicial proceedings.
