Taco Bell opened a 111m² restaurant at the Splau shopping centre in Cornellà de Llobregat on Thursday 20 August, expanding the centre’s food offer and employing a team of 10 people.

For Baix Llobregat residents and visitors, the new outlet provides another place to eat at Splau, with pre-order collection through Click & Collect and unlimited soft-drink refills through the chain’s Free Refill service.

The restaurant serves Tex-Mex-inspired dishes including tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos and Crunchywraps, alongside starters, set meals and desserts. Taco Bell now has 23 restaurants in Catalonia, according to La Vanguardia.

Orders can be collected at the restaurant

Customers using Click & Collect can place an order before arriving and collect it at the Splau restaurant. The outlet is designed for quick meals as well as diners sharing food with friends or family.

Ricard Doga, Splau’s manager, said the opening forms part of the shopping centre’s effort to broaden its dining choices.

“The arrival of Taco Bell further reinforces our commitment to offering a varied food proposition, with leading brands capable of attracting very diverse audiences.”

Splau’s 2026 renewal and growth strategy includes bringing in new operators and improving its spaces. The centre’s plans also include Decathlon opening on 26 August.
