In Salou, the council opened enrolment on 1 June 2026 for its summer camps for children and young people in the municipality. The programmes are run by the Childhood, Sports and Youth departments, and are designed to combine leisure, learning and social activity during the school holidays.
The offer includes the Xic’s Summer Camp, a Sports Summer School and a Youth Camp. The council says the activities also support family reconciliation, helping parents and carers balance work and childcare while school is out. For council news and updates, see News.
The Xic’s Summer Camp will run for nine weeks, from 29 June to 28 August. The weekly fee is €32.50, with an extra €41.25 per week for lunch service. Residents of Salou can register through the ReservaPlay platform, and the council says places are limited.
Discounts of 10% are available for Club Xic’s members, as well as for large families and single-parent families. There is also a free morning reception service from 7:30am to 9am, with places allocated according to family income. This measure is funded by the Catalan Co-responsible Plan.
The Sports Department’s Summer School will take place at Salou Centre Pavilion over the same period. The programme focuses on sport, healthy habits and the values linked to athletics, and it follows the same prices, discounts and conditions as the Xic’s camp. From 11 June, if places remain, enrolment will open to children who are not registered as residents of Salou.
The Youth Department is also offering a free Youth Camp for young people who have completed between first and third year of ESO. It will run in three fortnightly sessions, from 29 June to 7 August, Monday to Friday, from 10am to 2pm at Masia Tous. Registration is available through ReservaPlay, and places will be prioritised according to family economic situation. The Youth Camp is also financed by the Catalan Co-responsible Plan.
