Classic car engines roared through Reus on Saturday as the second stage of the Rally Catalunya – Costa Daurada Legend took place. Hundreds of motor enthusiasts gathered in the Baix Camp capital to experience the essence of these iconic vehicles, despite the smell of petrol and the threat of rain.

The event brought back the spirit of major rallies that once made Tarragona's roads a world championship territory. Spectators lined the routes, eager to see the classic cars in action and relive a significant period in motorsport history.

Reviving Rally Heritage

Reus has a strong connection to motorsport, having previously hosted stages of international rallies. The Rally Catalunya – Costa Daurada Legend aims to honour this heritage by featuring classic cars that competed in past events. This year's edition continued to draw large crowds, showing the enduring appeal of vintage racing.

The final stages of the rally are expected to conclude on Sunday, with participants tackling various routes across the Costa Daurada. Organisers hope to build on the success of this year's event, further cementing the region's place on the classic rally calendar.
