Marc Puigtió has taken his campaign for Girona mayor to neighbourhood streets, completing a door-to-door round in the Eixample district, according to Gironanotícies. The visits give Eixample residents a direct opportunity to raise local concerns and proposals with a candidate before Girona's May 2027 municipal election.
Puigtió's campaign profile says the initiative is intended to hear first-hand about neighbourhood needs. His recent activity also records doorstep visits in Montilivi and Palau-sacosta, as well as conversations with residents at the Mercat de Can Gibert del Pla.

On his KonKok profile, Puigtió said campaigners visited Montilivi during the week to listen to residents, exchange views and learn about the district's concerns, needs and proposals.
“We move around Girona, door to door, neighbourhood by neighbourhood,” Puigtió wrote after a visit to Palau-sacosta.
The profile also says the group set up a stall at Can Gibert del Pla market to speak with local people and explain its work on rethinking Girona.
Candidate for the 2027 election
Puigtió is a former mayor of Sant Julià de Ramis and currently serves as that municipality's finance councillor. La Vanguardia reported that Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya, or ERC, ratified him as its Girona mayoral candidate after its party guarantees committee rejected appeals over the local primary result.
He won that primary by 28 votes to 27 against Adam Manyé, according to Diari de Girona. Puigtió told the newspaper he intended to stand in May 2027 under the Moviment Gironí platform rather than using ERC's initials.
