Expanded programme runs from 4 to 31 October
The fifth edition of 'Beu-te el museu' will take place across Girona province from 4 to 31 October 2026, offering a combined cultural and enotourism experience aimed at local audiences outside the peak tourist season. Organised by the Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board through the Culture and Identity Marketing Clubs and the DO Empordà Wine Route, the initiative promotes de-seasonalisation by linking museums and wineries in shared events. This year’s cycle includes 380 tickets, priced at €22 per person, with each activity limited to 20–30 participants. Tickets have been on sale since 16 September.
New venues join cultural and wine programme
Three cultural sites are participating for the first time: Espai Carmen Thyssen, Museu del Joguet de Catalunya, and Castell de Sant Ferran. They join returning venues including the Museu de la Pesca, Castell Gala – Salvador Dalí, Museu d’Arqueologia de Catalunya in Ullastret and Girona, Terracotta Museu de Ceràmica, Canònica de Vilabertran, Ecomuseu Farinera, Museu de la Mediterrània, Museu d’Art de Girona, and Museu del Suro de Catalunya. On the wine side, Celler Cooperatiu d’Espolla joins the DO Empordà wineries, alongside returning participants Perelada, Mas Vida, Vinyes d’Olivardots, Mas Llunes, La Vinyeta, Martí Fabra, Vinyes dels Aspres, Oliveda, Clos d’Agon, Brugarol, Empordàlia, and Terra Remota.
The initiative aims to exchange audiences between cultural and wine sectors, creating a unique, experiential tourism offer in the region.
Proven success supports 2026 expansion
The 2023 edition, the most recently reported, drew 290 participants and achieved 72% occupancy across 15 activities. The 2026 expansion reflects ongoing efforts by the Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board to promote local heritage, strengthen inter-sector collaboration, and raise awareness of DO Empordà wineries and cultural spaces among nearby residents.
