A motorcyclist died on Sunday, 26 April, after a single-vehicle accident on the C-43 road near Gandesa, the capital of Terra Alta. The incident occurred at approximately 11:45am at kilometre 9.2, according to the Catalan Traffic Service (Servei Català de Trànsit).
Emergency services, including three Mossos d'Esquadra patrols, one Generalitat Fire Brigade unit, and several Medical Emergency System (SEM) units, were dispatched to the scene. Upon their arrival, the motorcyclist had already died, and paramedics were unable to save them.
