Focus on Motorcycle Safety Campaigns

The Servei Català de Trànsit has run targeted safety campaigns to reduce motorcycle accidents, including the Moto amb seny initiative launched during the Catalan MotoGP in June. The campaign provides practical safety advice and statistics on motorcyclist safety in Catalonia via motoambseny.cat and distributes helmet covers at events and police checks. From June to November, intensified police controls are being carried out on high-risk roads during peak accident hours, under the "Premot" operation run jointly by the Servei Català de Trànsit and the Mossos d'Esquadra’s Traffic Division.
