Creixell Magic Festival Draws Families for Three-Day Run
The third edition of Creixell Màgic, an international magic festival, runs from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 August in Creixell. Ginestà to Headline Badalona’s Festa Major
Barcelona rock band Ginestà will perform at 23:30 on Saturday 15 August along the Passeig de la Rambla in Badalona. The concert is part of the city’s Festa Major 2025, which coincides with the feast days of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and Sant Roc, co-patrons of the city. The festival runs from 14 to 16 August and includes a cercavila (parade), communal meals and a flower carpet construction. According to the official programme published by La Ciutat, the Festa Major also includes accessible concerts for people with functional diversity, featuring vibrating backpacks to enhance sound perception. Jazz Showdown in Olot with Punch Trio and Samuel Marthe
On Sunday 16 August at 18:30, the Parc Nou d’Olot hosts a jazz concert featuring Punch Trio versus trombonist Samuel Marthe. The performance is part of the 'Música al Parc' series, which combines live music with heritage and nature throughout August. The event will explore jazz styles including hard-bop and manouche. The full concert series, organised by Ajuntament d’Olot, runs from 26 July to 23 August and includes acts such as Albéricas XL, Coloma Bertran and Adama Foune Cissokho.
