The plan includes direct bus services starting next academic year. These services would run on Sunday evenings to Tarragona, Girona (stopping in Vic), and Barcelona (stopping in Bellaterra). Return services to the Pyrenees are planned for Fridays.
This initiative seeks to make higher education more accessible and improve the quality of life for Pyrenees residents. It would reduce travel time and costs, according to Junts. The party also argues that the measure will help ease road congestion and promote more sustainable transport.
Expanding Transport Options
