Off Festival brings jazz to bars and restaurants

In the weeks leading up to the main event, the Off Festival introduces jazz into Palafrugell’s hospitality venues. From 18 September to 4 October, local bars and restaurants host live jazz during vermouths, tapas, cocktail hours, and dinners. These events are organised by the Economic Promotion Department of Palafrugell Town Council.

Library highlights jazz through books and art

From 5 to 13 October, Palafrugell Library displays a special exhibition of jazz-related books, albums, comics, and publications. During the festival, members of the Sketxers drawing collective will create live sketches of the Energia Big Band performance. Ràdio Palafrugell serves as the festival’s official broadcaster, offering special programming throughout the five days on air and online.
