The Festa Major d'Hostafrancs 2026 will take place from Thursday 2 October to Sunday 11 October in the Hostafrancs area of Sants-Montjuïc district. The event will feature both traditional and newer activities for residents of all ages.
Organisers have confirmed the dates and unveiled the official poster, created by José Alegre, an art director, illustrator and resident of Hostafrancs. The design captures the festive spirit of the neighbourhood and highlights elements of its distinctive architecture.
Traditional and community-focused events
Among the established highlights are the Ball de rams, a traditional floral dance, and the Fira de la Magrana (Pomegranate Fair), which celebrate local heritage. Additional events tailored for children, families and older residents will also be included across the ten-day celebration.
Activities will be held in various streets and squares throughout the Hostafrancs barri, fostering community participation and public engagement. The full schedule, including performance times, workshops and cultural acts, is expected to be published in the coming weeks.
