In Girona, thousands of Girona FC supporters gathered at Montilivi stadium today to give their team a loud pre-match send-off ahead of a crucial fixture.
The crowd filled the stadium esplanade, with chants, scarves and flares creating a strong atmosphere before kick-off. Local reports said the scene was one usually seen on major matchdays.
Players, including coach Míchel and striker Stuani, acknowledged the fans from the pitchside area. Their gestures were met with more noise from the crowd, which backed the team with the message, “sí que es pot”.
The display came on a day described as “life or death” for Girona FC, underlining how much is at stake in the match. The club will now look to turn that support into a result on the pitch.
