Autumn Escapes with Halloween Fun

This autumn, Taiga Resorts is offering seasonal getaways across Spain, with special Halloween programming scheduled for the weekends of 23–25 October and 30 October–1 November 2026. The events will take place at multiple locations, including TAIGA Delta de l’Ebre in L’Ampolla and TAIGA Bassegoda Park in Girona, and are designed for both children and adults.

Activities include trick-or-treating, fancy-dress contests, face painting, and a themed escape room known as the 'passatge del terror'.

These events will be held at several of Taiga’s eight campsite resorts, which span Andalusia, Murcia, the Valencian Community, Aragon, and Catalonia. The Halloween programme is part of a broader seasonal push to attract families seeking nature-based holidays outside the summer peak.

Delta de l’Ebre: Nature and Comfort

TAIGA Delta de l’Ebre, located in L’Ampolla, Tarragona, sits on the beachfront and serves as a gateway to the Delta del Ebro Natural Park. The site offers bungalows, glamping, and pitch camping, all within walking distance of the sea. According to the resort’s official website, it features two supervised swimming pools, which will remain open depending on weather conditions until 12 October 2026. Guests have access to on-site amenities including the BAMA Beach Club restaurant, which specialises in local rice and seafood dishes, a supermarket, children’s play areas, sports facilities, and pet-friendly zones. The resort is also a base for exploring the Ebro Delta’s rice fields, wetlands, and migratory bird routes, with opportunities for kayaking, paddleboarding, and cycling.

“The tranquility, gastronomy, nature, and beauty of the Delta del Ebro Natural Park are incomparable to any other,” states the official Taiga Resorts website.

Visitors can book nautical activities such as paddleboarding in the Fangar Bay and rent bicycles directly from the campsite.

Bassegoda Park: Mountains and Stargazing

Another key destination is TAIGA Bassegoda Park in Albanyà, Girona, set within the Alta Garrotxa Natural Interest Area near the Pyrenees foothills. The resort promotes forest hikes, river activities on the Muga River, and adventure experiences in a quiet mountain environment. A standout feature is the on-site Albanyà Astronomical Observatory, which hosts guided stargazing sessions. The area’s low light pollution makes it ideal for observing stars, planets, and constellations. The observatory offers educational outreach and night sky experiences suitable for all ages.

“Our privileged environment hosts one of the clearest skies in Europe,” says Taiga Resorts, describing Bassegoda Park as a place to “reconnect” with nature and the cosmos.

The resort welcomes families and pets and provides a peaceful alternative to coastal destinations.
