Cardona is now home to the first company to open in the La Cort II industrial park, after Frontmatec-AIRA officially inaugurated its new premises there yesterday.
The opening marks a step for the municipality’s new industrial area in Central Catalonia. Frontmatec-AIRA is the first company to construct and operate a unit in the park.
The ceremony was attended by Kevin Harry, Chief Financial Officer, Administration of Fortifi, Dennis Gallagher, President of Frontmatec, and Xavier Jané i López, CEO of Frontmatec-AIRA.
Local and regional representatives also took part, including Ivet Castaño i Vilella, director of Territorial Services for Business and Work in Central Catalonia, and Lluïsa Aliste i Sánchez, mayor of Cardona.
