New Portal and App Streamline Access to OMAC

The Ajuntament de Figueres has launched a new online booking system for the Oficina Municipal d'Atenció a la Ciutadania (OMAC), aimed at speeding up municipal procedures and improving access for residents. The new platform, available at citaprevia.figueres.cat, allows users to select their service type in advance, including requests for resident registration, certificate issuance, bill payments, document submissions, and other administrative tasks. Previously, residents had to navigate through the main Ajuntament website to access booking functions. Now, the process is direct and also integrated into the municipal app Figueres 360, available for both Android and iOS devices.

Improved In-Person Experience with Digital Integration

At the OMAC office on Avinguda Salvador Dalí, a new automated machine has been installed at the entrance. Visitors with appointments can scan their QR code, which automatically prints a ticket indicating their place in the queue. Despite the digital upgrades, walk-in service remains available. Citizens can still request appointments in person at the OMAC office or by phone at 972 03 22 00.

The OMAC serves around 200 people per day and has operated for two decades as the central point for municipal information and procedures.

Opening Hours and Continued Access Options

The OMAC is open Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 14:00. Walk-in service is available from 08:30 to 13:00 or until tickets are exhausted. Appointments are required for afternoon sessions, which run from 16:00 to 18:00 Monday to Thursday. Some services, such as residency certificates, can also be requested by email at [email protected] with a scanned ID, or submitted online via the E-TRAM platform using a digital certificate.
