Barcelona is set to receive an estimated €606.5 million from Catalonia’s new Generalitat budgets, according to figures calculated by Mayor Jaume Collboni. The money is expected to be spread across city projects over the next few years.

The budget deal was agreed by the Socialist Party of Catalonia (PSC), Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya (ERC) and En Comú Podem (Comuns). City officials say the agreement gives Barcelona a significant funding boost for planned work in the Catalan capital.

Mayor Collboni said the investment matters for Barcelona’s future development. The funds are expected to support municipal initiatives and infrastructure upgrades, although no specific projects have been detailed yet.

The agreement comes as Barcelona looks for stable long-term planning for urban services and investment. It also reflects cooperation between the main parties involved in the Catalan budget deal.
