Transport and Entry Package Extended
Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), the Ajuntament de Capellades and the company Montferri will renew their collaboration agreement to maintain the 'Combinat NEAN - Parc Prehistòric de Capellades' package for another four years. The deal allows visitors to reach the prehistoric park via public transport with a single integrated ticket. The combined ticket includes a round-trip train journey on the Llobregat-Anoia line to Capellades station, a round-trip bus transfer between the station and the park, and admission to the NEAN – Parc Prehistòric de Capellades. It is designed to promote sustainable access to the cultural site located near the rail stop.
School Groups and Pricing
School groups can reserve the package in advance through FGC’s Customer Service Centre. The price of the combined ticket varies depending on the passenger’s origin zone on the rail network. Reduced rates are available for children aged 8 to 17, students, retirees, unemployed individuals, organised groups and visitors to the Molí Paperer de Capellades museum.
This initiative supports public transport use while making cultural heritage more accessible to families and educational groups.
How to Buy the Ticket
The combined ticket is available at ticket vending machines across the Llobregat-Anoia line. Full details, including pricing by zone and service hours, can be found on the official Turistren website. The renewal follows a campaign launched in September 2026 to promote the offer and coincides with ongoing archaeological excavations at the Abric de la Consagració, part of the NEAN site just 500 metres from the Abric Romaní.
