Barcelona will experience variable weather over the next few days, with afternoon clouds and a chance of some showers, particularly in the northern coastal and pre-coastal areas, according to Betevé's forecast.
Wednesday, 13 May, will start with cooler temperatures, making a jacket essential at 6am. By 9am, there will be periods of morning sunshine. The sky will become cloudier from midday, with pleasant conditions around 12pm. Cloud development will increase by 3pm, leading to a more overcast sky and a possibility of brief showers or drops of rain around 6pm. Evenings will be cool, requiring a light jumper or jacket by 9pm.
Cooler Temperatures Expected
Early mornings will be fresh, with minimum temperatures 2 to 3 degrees lower than recent days. The midday period will remain pleasant across the region. The initial sunshine will give way to a gradual increase in cloud cover from noon onwards. The afternoon will be more overcast in areas between Vallès Occidental, Montseny, Maresme, and Barcelonès. There is a risk of isolated drops or short showers in these areas, especially near Montseny.
Unsettled Conditions to Continue
No significant changes are expected for Thursday. Friday will see the passage of a cold front and the arrival of the maestral wind, bringing fresh temperatures for the time of year. The weekend is also forecast to be unsettled, with considerable cloud cover and little change in temperatures.
