Business leaders and residents interested in transport and economic infrastructure will be able to attend a book launch and discussion at the Port of Barcelona on Tuesday 27 October. The event, organised by VIA Empresa, will begin at 18:30, although doors will open at 18:00, and attendance requires advance registration.
Fem via: el repte de les infraestructures catalanes, translated as Moving Forward: the Challenge of Catalan Infrastructure, will be presented in the Sala Barcelona at the port. The discussion will address infrastructure relevant to Catalonia's economy, including transport networks, housing pressures and business growth.

The event will take place on the first floor of the Edifici Est, Moll de Barcelona, s/n, 08039 Barcelona. Visitors should enter through the World Trade Center building and use the stairs beside the pharmacy.

Port and chamber leaders on the programme
José Alberto Carbonell, president of the Port of Barcelona, will be interviewed at 19:00 by VIA Empresa journalist Ana M. González.
Carme Poveda, director of economic analysis at the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, will join a 19:10 discussion on finance and infrastructure. Ramon Talamàs, president of the Terrassa Chamber of Commerce, and Ramon Alberich, president of the Sabadell Chamber of Commerce, will take part in a 19:20 conversation on territorial impact.
VIA Empresa director Carlos Rojas will introduce the event and present the book's contents. The formal programme is due to finish at 19:40, followed by a networking reception at 19:45.
