How to Enter the Free Ticket Draw

The Sagrada Família is offering 20,000 free entries to the public as part of La Mercè 2026 celebrations. Interested individuals can register for the ticket draw until 20 September at 21:00 via a form on the basilica’s official website and its social media channels, according to information published on 14 September by Betevé and confirmed by the basilica’s official site. Each winner will receive four tickets valid for one of the four open days: 24, 25, 26, or 27 September. Entrants must select their preferred date and time slot during registration, but the exact visit time will only be revealed upon notification of winning. No changes to date or time are permitted after allocation.

Winners will be notified from 20 September onwards, with visits taking place during the final weekend of September.

Visiting Details and Access

Access to the basilica will be via Carrer de la Marina. All visitors aged three years and over must hold a ticket to enter. Tickets are non-transferable by sale but may be gifted, as they are not issued in individual names. The open days are scheduled as follows:

  • Thursday 24 September: 16:00–20:00
  • Friday 25 September: 16:00–20:00
  • Saturday 26 September: 15:00–18:00
  • Sunday 27 September: 16:00–20:00

What Visitors Will See

The self-guided tour will include access to key areas of the basilica such as the interior nave, the Passion façade, the liturgical path, the museum, and the Nativity façade, as detailed by El Periódico. A special photographic exhibition titled La força d’un somni compartit will be on display, highlighting the people behind the construction of Gaudí’s masterpiece as part of the commemorative Any Gaudí programme. New for 2026, three sculptures destined for the exterior of the Assumpta chapel will be exhibited in the materials courtyard. These include figures of Saint Josep Oriol, Saint Roc, and one of the four angels that will crown the dome and support the blue mantle of the Virgin Mary.
