Vila-seca, a town in the Costa Daurada, is introducing changes to its public parking system for the upcoming summer season, according to the Diari de Tarragona. While tariffs and season passes will remain consistent with last year, the local council is adding a new daily parking option.
This new daily tariff will allow vehicles to park for up to 11 hours, from 10am to 9pm. Previously, the maximum parking duration was limited to four hours. The daily option will be exclusively available for purchase via parking meters, officials said.
In addition to the new tariff, a plot of land located between Plácido Domingo, Pep Ventura, Victòria dels Àngels, and Amadeu Vives streets will now be regulated. This measure aims to offset the reduction in available parking spaces caused by the construction of the Cal·lípolis Experiential Centre.
Parking Zones Operational Dates
The blue and green parking zones in La Pineda, a coastal area within Vila-seca, will operate from 15 June to 15 September. These regulations are part of the broader reactivation of paid parking areas across the Costa Daurada as the tourist season begins.
