The Espai de l'Estudiant (Student Space) fair in Valls, a key event for southern Catalonia, will achieve a new participation record with 71 visiting educational centres and 67 exhibitors. Nine of these exhibitors are participating for the first time, according to organisers.
Organised by the Institut d'Estudis Vallencs through the Consorci Pro Universitari de l'Alt Camp, the fair will bring together information on post-compulsory education. This includes university studies, intermediate and higher vocational training, artistic and design programmes, language courses, marketing, continuous training, scholarships, accommodation, pricing, and academic and professional guidance services. It also covers other services for young people and proposals related to employment.
Expanding Educational Opportunities
The fair's 67 exhibitors, from across Catalonia, expand and diversify the educational offerings available. This strengthens its role in helping students make academic decisions. The addition of nine new exhibitors shows the fair's growing appeal and dynamism.
Seventy educational centres have already booked visits online, confirming the increasing interest in this annual event. These centres come from various areas of Camp de Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre, as well as other parts of Catalonia, establishing the Espai as a significant regional fair.
Event Details and Public Access
The event will take place at the Sala Kursaal in Valls, located on Ctra. De Barcelona s/n. It is supported by Valls City Council, Tarragona Provincial Council, and the Government of Catalonia through its education, universities, and youth departments. The Valls Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with other local institutions and entities, also collaborate.
The Espai de l'Estudiant will be open to the general public in the afternoons, offering free access to families, education and guidance professionals, and individuals looking to resume or expand their training. On both Wednesday and Thursday, interested individuals can visit the fair from 3.30pm to 7pm.
Organisers recommend checking the website, www.espaiestudiant.cat, for updated information, a full list of exhibitors, and to plan visits.
