Works to improve the T-324 road between Benissanet and Móra d'Ebre, in the Terres de l'Ebre region, are progressing, with a key bridge widening project nearing completion. The Tarragona Provincial Council is overseeing the improvements, which represent an investment of almost €2 million.
The project includes the widening of the bridge over the Sec river, a critical part of the road's infrastructure. Officials from the Tarragona Provincial Council stated that these works are a priority, designed to improve safety and the experience for all road users.
These upgrades are part of a broader effort by the Provincial Council to enhance road networks across the region. The T-324 is a significant route for local residents and businesses, connecting several towns in the Ribera d'Ebre area.
Boosting Road Safety
The Provincial Council has emphasised that the improvements will directly address safety concerns along the route. Widening the bridge over the Sec river, for example, will allow for smoother traffic flow and reduce potential hazards for drivers and pedestrians alike. The investment reflects a commitment to modernising local infrastructure.
Looking ahead, the Provincial Council expects the project to conclude in the coming months. The completion of these works will provide a safer and more efficient transport link for the communities of Benissanet and Móra d'Ebre.
