Salou will host its 12th Associations Fair this Saturday, 6 June, on Passeig Jaume I, with the promenade set to become a showcase for local community life. Organised by Salou Town Council through its Citizen Participation department, the event will run from 6pm to 10pm and bring together more than 42 local associations and organisations.

The fair includes 22 Salou-based groups offering 25 activities across the afternoon. Town officials say the event has become a regular meeting point for residents and a sign of the range of community groups active in the town. The number of registered organisations with the Town Council continues to grow each year.

Passeig Jaume I will be arranged with information stalls and a main stage, where activities will run throughout the evening. Planned items include Bulgarian folk dancing, traditional Aragonese music, rugby passing games, judo demonstrations and other cultural, sporting and recreational displays.

There will also be ongoing activities at the stalls, including mental health workshops, language activities, tennis demonstrations, an exhibition of cultural elements and a drone report projection of Cap Salou. These are designed to show the breadth of work carried out by local associations.

Additional scheduled activities include a parade of festive elements, an aquatic walking circuit, a children’s race and a demonstration by police dogs. The Town Council says the fair helps residents learn more about local associations and their role in social cohesion and citizen participation.
