First of Three Metropolitan Offices
Sabadell will host one of the first three metropolitan citizen service offices (OAC) in Catalonia, alongside Santa Coloma de Gramenet and Esplugues de Llobregat. The new office, located at Carrer de Gràcia, 17, forms part of the Catalan government's effort to expand in-person administrative access across the Barcelona metropolitan area. The facility will serve around 400,000 residents and is set to open by early 2027, making it the first of the three to become operational. It will join an expanded network that will reach 14 integrated offices across Catalonia.
One-Stop Service Hub
The office will operate as a one-stop service point, allowing residents to complete administrative procedures, obtain information, and receive personalised support from multiple departments of the Generalitat under one roof. This includes services related to social support, dependency assistance, and other regional government trámites. It will employ a team of 12 trained information and processing officers to support public access. The space dedicated to citizen services will span 415 square metres.

Shared Modernist Building
The office will be housed in a modernist building undergoing renovation, which will also host the Territorial Education Services for the Vallès Occidental region and a comarcal office of the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food. The move consolidates several regional government functions into a single, accessible urban location. This expansion follows recent launches of integrated offices in Barcelona’s Eixample district and La Seu d’Urgell, as part of a broader public administration reform under the current Catalan government.
