Rubí, Catalonia – The fifth annual Rubí Women's Race, held this Sunday, achieved a new participation record with 2,397 registered individuals, filling the town's streets with pink. This figure surpasses last year's participation by over 600, confirming the event's status as a major city occasion.

The non-competitive sports event also raised €10,973 for Oncolliga, an organisation providing psychosocial care to cancer patients and their families. Oncolliga also conducts awareness, outreach, and prevention activities related to the disease. Participants made variable donations during registration to support the cause.

Rubí's Mayor, Ana María Martínez Martínez, commented on the success, stating, "It was no surprise. Rubí is a supportive city, and it has been demonstrated once again." She added that the high participation reaffirmed the race as "a great civic celebration that transcends the sporting aspect and where everyone is welcome. It is wonderful to see the streets of Rubí filled with people of all ages and genders promoting women's sport and important causes like Oncolliga's."
