Olot, La Garrotxa, hosted 591 first-year ESO students from all institutes in the region on Wednesday morning for the latest edition of Orientolot 2026. This orientation race brought together sport, teamwork, and social interaction among young people from different schools.

The activity ran from 10am to 12.30pm, starting from the Morrot fields. Teams navigated the Sant Francesc area, using a map to locate as many checkpoints as possible, according to event organisers.

Promoting Teamwork and Community

The Orientolot event aims to help students develop collaboration skills and build connections with peers from other centres in La Garrotxa. It provides a shared experience outside the classroom, encouraging physical activity and strategic thinking.
