Coma-ruga, in Tarragona, was the place where an ONCE Cuponazo ticket worth €40,000 was sold last Friday, 5 June. The prize went to a local buyer after the winning ticket was issued in the town.

The ticket was sold by Carlos Sau, an ONCE vendor, from his kiosk at Avenida Balneario, number 6. ONCE says its vendors are people with disabilities, and Sau is part of that network.

The Coma-ruga sale falls under the ONCE agency in Tarragona, which provides personalised services to 780 affiliated people. The agency also has 190 sales agents who distribute ONCE gaming products.

ONCE Cuponazo is drawn every Friday and offers a top prize of €6 million for €3, awarded for matching five numbers and the series. It also includes 134 prizes of €40,000 for matching the five numbers of the winning ticket, plus other prizes.

ONCE says its lottery model is social, secure, responsible and solidarity-based. It also says it applies controls to reduce problem gambling, bans sales to minors and credit purchases, and follows standards set by the World Lottery Association and the European Lotteries Association.
