Montblanc, in the Conca de Barberà region, hosted the Generalitat de Catalunya's InfoTruck on 15 May. The mobile information point, part of the Government Plan, stopped in Plaça Major to bring public policies closer to residents.

The InfoTruck is an itinerant initiative designed to make government programmes and services more accessible across Catalonia. It provides a direct channel for citizens to learn about various public policies, ask questions, and receive information.

Connecting Residents with Government

The Generalitat de Catalunya launched the InfoTruck programme to ensure that information about its policies reaches all corners of the region, including smaller towns and rural areas. This approach helps bridge the gap between government services and the people they are designed to serve.

The initiative allows residents to engage directly with representatives and gather details on topics such as social welfare, economic development, and environmental programmes. The aim is to foster greater understanding and participation in public life, according to officials.

Future stops for the InfoTruck will be announced by the Generalitat, continuing its tour to various municipalities throughout Catalonia.
