Mollet del Vallès will host the 12th edition of Mollet és Fira from 15 to 17 May, bringing together 450 businesses and 152 exhibitors. The fair aims to revitalise local commerce and establish the city as a commercial hub, according to Mollet del Vallès Council.
The event is a joint effort between the local council and businesses to promote trade. It will feature three sector-specific fairs: Food, Automotive, and Quality of Life and Services. These will run concurrently over the weekend.
Fair Schedule and Opening Event
The fair will be open on Saturday from 11am to 9pm and on Sunday from 11am to 8pm. The opening event, 'El Mercat també fa Fira' (The Market also holds a Fair), will start at 8pm on Friday, 15 May, in Plaça Major. This will include paella tastings prepared at the market, dance performances by SQS Teams, and live music from Pirates Rumbersions.
'Superbutlleta' Campaign Launched
Alongside the fair, the 'Superbutlleta' (Super Ballot) commercial campaign will launch, running until 15 June. This initiative, promoted and funded by local businesses, encourages participation through a ballot system. Customers can collect a 'Superbutlleta' at participating stores and submit it to collection boxes located in these establishments or at the fairgrounds.
The campaign will conclude with a draw on Friday, 19 June, at 12pm at the Municipal Market. Various parallel activities are also planned at different stands and on the main stage throughout the fair.
