Tarragona is set to see the return of Mas Roselló, the historic farmhouse at 23 Rafael de Casanova promenade, after more than a year closed under the Busquets family. The property will reopen under new management by UTE Mas Roselló.
The plan is to turn the site into a stronger dining destination for the city, with two separate restaurants. One will focus on everyday dining, while the other will be a high-end venue designed to compete for a Michelin star, according to officials.
That ambition matters for Tarragona, which has long had a strong food culture but no Michelin star of its own. If the project succeeds, it could raise the city’s profile for visitors and local diners alike.
Mas Roselló previously held a prominent place in Tarragona’s restaurant scene, and its reopening marks a new phase for the site. The move also fits a wider pattern of investment in higher-end dining across Catalonia.
