Manresa’s Neus Català i Pallejà Square will close to pedestrians from Monday, 25 May, as urbanisation work on Carrer d'Àngel Guimerà extends into the square, according to local officials.

Alternative pedestrian routes will be in place around the square, with protected and clearly signposted diversions to reduce disruption. Vehicle access will remain open via Passeig de Pere III, heading towards Muralla de Sant Domènec, along the side of the El Casino building.

The work is part of a wider project to improve public space in Manresa’s city centre. The council has not said how long the square will remain closed, so residents are being asked to follow the temporary signs on site.
