Manresa will host a round table on 12 June on mobility and housing, two issues that continue to shape daily life across Catalonia. The event, titled “Mobility and Housing in Manresa: Challenges and Opportunities”, will take place at 6.30pm in the assembly hall of the Manresa Chamber of Commerce.
The session is being organised by Montepio de la Generalitat de Catalunya. It is intended as a space for discussion on the city’s development, with a focus on how transport and access to housing affect residents’ quality of life.
The panel will bring together Xavier Font, an economist specialising in real estate markets, Carles Llop, an architect and urban planner, and Jordi Valls, an expert in mobility and transport. Journalist Anna M. Geli will moderate the discussion.
Organisers say the debate will look at new trends in sustainable mobility, the impact of technology on transport, and possible ways to improve access to decent, affordable housing. The aim is to encourage public discussion around practical responses to current urban challenges.
