Manresa's Pere III promenade hosted around 70 microcars on Sunday morning for the 20th International Microcar Meet, bringing the focus to the Bages capital and its automotive past.

The event also marked the 70th anniversary of the PTV, a microcar designed and manufactured entirely in Manresa between 1956 and 1961, according to local reports.

The gathering drew enthusiasts and curious onlookers to the Central Catalonia city, with a wide range of compact vehicles on display. It combined a public meet-up with a look back at a model that remains part of Manresa's industrial history.

The PTV has a special place in the city's story because it was produced locally during a short but notable period. Its anniversary gave the meet an added historical focus, alongside the interest in the vehicles themselves.

The International Microcar Meet is now in its 20th year and continues to bring owners and fans together. For more local coverage, see our news tag.
