La Seu d'Urgell will host six courses from the University of Lleida's (UEL) Summer University programme between 15 and 26 July. This marks the 34th edition of the UEL, offering a range of educational opportunities in the Alt Urgell capital.

The courses cover diverse subjects, from personal development through theatre to strategies for addressing bullying. These programmes are designed for students, professionals, and the general public, according to Regió 7.

Diverse Course Offerings

Among the six courses scheduled for La Seu d'Urgell is "Theatre as a Tool for Self-Knowledge: Psychology and Drama". This course will be led by Montse Trias, a psychologist and actress.

Another significant offering is "Bullying: Community and Restorative Strategies for Coexistence and Safe Spaces". This programme will be directed by Carme Arcarons, a pedagogue and expert in school mediation.

Further courses include "Communication in Crisis Situations", taught by journalist and crisis communication expert Jordi García. Environmental topics are also covered with "Waste Management and Circular Economy", featuring specialist environmental technicians.

Professionals in mental health will lead "Mental Health in Childhood and Adolescence". The programme concludes with "The Future of Work: Challenges and Opportunities", which will involve human resources and innovation experts.
