In New York, the Knicks are one win from the NBA Finals after beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 121-108 in Cleveland, Ohio, on 24 May 2026. The result gave them a 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals and left them with a chance to reach the championship series for the first time since 1999.

The win was the Knicks’ tenth straight in the playoffs, with a points difference of 234 across that run. At Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, Jalen Brunson again led the way with 30 points, shooting 11 of 15 from the field, and was met with chants of “MVP” from the crowd.

Brunson had strong support from Mikal Bridges, who scored 22 points, OG Anunoby, who added 21, and Karl-Anthony Towns, who finished with 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Josh Hart posted 12 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four steals, while Landry Shamet added 14 points off the bench.

The Cavaliers could not recover from their Game 1 collapse at Madison Square Garden, when they lost a 22-point lead in the fourth quarter. They were then beaten heavily in Game 2 and never led in Saturday’s home game, even though they shot 50% from the field.

Evan Mobley led Cleveland with 24 points, Donovan Mitchell scored 23 and James Harden added 19. Mitchell also briefly went to the locker room during the game before returning to play.

The Knicks took control early with a 9-1 run and led by 10 points after the first quarter. They were ahead 91-82 going into the fourth, and Anunoby’s three-pointer with 5:30 left pushed the margin to 110-93. The series now returns to Cleveland on Monday, where New York can complete a sweep and book its place in the NBA Finals.
