Three men were arrested in Girona on Tuesday afternoon after police caught them hiding stolen goods in a wooded area near the railway tracks in the Sant Narcís neighbourhood.
Mossos d'Esquadra officers were alerted to suspicious activity and found the men concealing items. Upon inspection, police discovered three suitcases containing jewellery, clothing, and tools, all believed to be from a recent house burglary, according to officials.
Suspects with Prior Offences
The arrested individuals have previous records for similar offences. They were taken to the Girona police station and are expected to appear before a judge in the coming hours.
Police are continuing their investigation to determine if the men are connected to other robberies in the city. The operation highlights ongoing efforts to combat property crime in Girona.
